California Friends of Veterans is a community-driven nonprofit providing essential supplies, food, and support to veterans clinics, hospitals, and homes across Sonoma County and the Bay Area.
What We Do
Showing up with what veterans need
From warm coats on a cold night to a hot breakfast on a weekend morning — we fill the gaps that larger systems can’t always reach.
Essential Supplies
We deliver warm coats, blankets, new socks, and personal hygiene products to local veterans clinics — the everyday items that make a real difference in comfort and dignity.
Hospital & Home Support
At Yountville Veterans Home and Fort Miley Hospital, we provide snacks, pillows, blankets, warm jackets, quilts, batteries (AA and AAA), and hygiene products to residents and patients.
Free Pancake Breakfasts
We host free pancake breakfasts for veterans at local clinics — a simple gesture that brings community, warmth, and a sense of belonging.
Homeless Veteran Projects
We supply Fort Miley with food and clothing specifically for their veterans homeless outreach programs, helping connect vulnerable veterans with the resources they need.
Nonprofit Partnerships
We collaborate with and support other nonprofits by providing food and personal items — because serving veterans is a team effort across our whole community.
